About The Vigil
This site serves two purposes. First, it is an alternate reality game, of sorts. The members of The Vigil can keep tabs of the activities of the freaks and ghouls that inhabit the shadows around them, and post their own accounts, request information about certain bogeymen, or see if their stories have supernatural origins.
Second, and probably most applicable, this site stands as a resource for storytellers of World of Darkness games. A repository of plot ideas, side quests, and the like to help liven up a game, or when the party zigs when you expect them to zag.
